AQUEST CORPORATION helped a Massachusetts machining center improve the overall air quality in their facility by providing an ambient oil mist air cleaner solution. Machine-mounted mist collectors were simply not enough, in this case, to control the amount of coolant mist generated by their manufacturing processes. Aquest designed and installed a configuration of seven (7) ambient air cleaners to polish the mist laden air in their shop. The size and number of units were based on the total volume (cu. ft.) of their production area and the required ventilation rate (air change per hour). Aquest utilized the ambient air cleaners to
polish mist laden air. These units can be configured to control: oil mists, dusts and weld smoke / fume.
