AQUEST CORPORATION recently provided a CT aerospace components manufacturer with a complete suction-style automated abrasive blasting system. Aquest and IST provided the complete system including: the (4) station / twelve (12) position rotary indexing sandblast cabinet, grit recycler with multi-stage vibratory abrasive classifying system, cartridge-style dust collector, and pre-programmed system control panel; as well as installation and startup / training services. The blasting system was equipped with parts loading/unloading position, multiple gun blasting position, and blow-off position. The satellites automatically index through the positions while the part holders on each satellite are rotated and orbit to ensure complete blasting coverage.
