Deburring Workstations

CONNECTICUT

AQUEST CORPORATION provided an aerospace components manufacturer in CT with five (5) MicroAir WC2500 wet-type dust collectors and a triple-CAB dry-type backwall booth to service their deburring department. The application required five (5) 48” x 30” downdraft stations equipped to handle combustible metal dusts (e.g. aluminum, titanium), and a 12’ x 12’ x 8’ booth equipped to control deburring dust for large steel and other alloy parts. The system represented a major upgrade for the operators and facility. The stations significantly improved air quality and worker comfort, and allowed the manufacturer to safely increase their overall throughput. All the collectors and booths were installed and fitted out by the end-user’s inhouse maintenance staff.
