AQUEST CORPORATION provided turn-key design and installation services for a dust collector and associated ductwork system for a Connecticut manufacturer who recently purchased a new CNC router. The ductwork design needed to allow for movement along multiple axes and proper transitions to ensure sufficient transport velocities were maintained throughout the ductwork system. Aquest utilized smooth-seamed, clamp-seal ductwork to achieve a complicated design and verified all duct diameters, transition angles, and static losses using prescribed methodologies in the ACGIH Industrial Ventilation Manual.
