AQUEST CORPORATION was tasked with replacing an old burned-out dust collector for a Maine rubber footwear manufacturer. Aquest provided a turn-key equivalent dust collector
replacement with all the required OSHA and NFPA combustible dust safety components. The system was equipped with a backdraft damper, deflagration relief venting, infrared
spark detection and suppression system, and high-speed abort gate. The design allowed for cleaned exhaust air to be returned back into the facility and provided significant energy savings for the customer.
