AQUEST CORPORATION provided a point source capture and dust collector solution to control fiberglass dust at a components manufacturer in Massachusetts. The high static filtration system was designed to capture dust directly off the tool tip of the facility’s CNC lathe. The customer invested in the system to improve facility air quality (protecting workers’ health), and to eliminate damaging fiber build-up on sensitive CNC system components (reduce maintenance downtime). Aquest designed, supplied and installed the complete dust extraction system, ductwork and hoods. The unit was equipped with two (2) highly-efficient,
self-cleaning cartridge filters and a high-static 5 HP motor/blower with exhaust air returned into the building.
