AQUEST CORPORATION provided a Rhode Island manufacturer of fiberglass and composite parts with a combination filtered backwall / ambient air cleaner dust collection system. The 40’ W x 40’ L trim bay filtration system is designed to provide a clean air environment during heavy sanding operations on a wide variety of large-scale molded parts. Aquest utilized three (3) INDUSTRIAL MAID filter walls and three (3) T-Series ambient air cleaners to supply 31,500 CFM of recirculating air flow in the workspace, such that the entire volume of air is filtered and returned to the space every minute – that is, 60 air-changes per hour! This system provides ultimate dust control as well as energy savings.
