NEW HAMPSHIRE
AQUEST CORPORATION designed, built and installed a landfill gas collection and control system at a large construction and demolition debris (C&D) landfill located in New Hampshire. Aquest Corp. designed and
equipped the system with 264,000 lbs. of Sulfatreat iron oxide media to remove +99% of damaging hydrogen sulfide gas from the valuable methane exhaust stream. Initially, the methane was sent to a combustion flare for destruction, but later it was conveyed to boilers at a nearby existing paper mill. Aquest provided the operators a complete turnkey installation and system startup services. Aquest has also provided a service contract to include the removal and disposal of spent sorption media on an as-needed basis.
