AQUEST CORPORATION helped a world-class boat builder in Maine upgrade their hardwood spray varnish booth. Aquest designed and installed a combination spray / bake booth to isolate the finishing area from wood dust producing operations, capture overspray, and provide a climate controlled cure environment. The finishing system was equipped with an 80/20 recirculation mode during the cure cycle, whereby the system recycles 80% heated booth air into the MAU. This feature served to minimize heat loss and save energy, while at the same time providing adequate air flow across the paint surface to ensure a proper cure. Aquest provided turn-key installation services for this paint system, which increased productivity and improved finish quality
