AQUEST CORPORATION recently provided a medical device manufacturer with several coolant mist filtration / collection units for their brand new CNC machining centers. The mist collectors were pole- and machine-mounted units and designed to provide three-stages of filtration; the first stage consists of a mechanical baffled separation element, the second stage is an agglomeration weave-filter, and the third stage is a super-efficient HEPA after-filter. This superior level of HEPA-grade filtration was absolutely necessary given the customer’s investment in new equipment and building improvements. Aquest provided the customer design, equipment and installation services for efficient and cost-effective air quality control.
