AQUEST CORPORATION provided a Connecticut manufacturer with a highly efficient, compact and cost-effective cartridge-style dust collector to control steel dust produced by their grinding and abrasive blasting operations. The 4,000 cubic feet per minute (CFM) collector was equipped with a 10 HP motor / blower, six (6) nano-fiber (MERV 15) cartridge filters and an exhaust silencer. Complete quick-fit / clampseal ductwork design and installation services were provided to deliver point of use suction to several machines, and direct cleaned exhaust air back into the building (minimizing HVAC system make-up air requirements). The unit was supplied with an all-in-one motor starter, electrical disconnect, pulse control timer board and digital differential pressure gauge.
