AQUEST CORPORATION has utilized the MicroAir RP-1 Twister to great success at an aerospace parts machining center in Massachusetts. The units were installed to capture metal dusts generated by their deburring and grinding machines. The Twister is a versatile 1,000 cfm cartridge collector unit, which meets the OSHA and NFPA combustible dust standards by adhering to design requirements of NFPA 654. The Twister allows customers, with small dust producing applications, to affordably control the dust without the need to design and install large and costly dust collection systems with ancillary fire and explosion prevention devices. The system can be fitted with various types of custom hoods or source capture arms, and it returns exhaust air back into the building.
